Christian Vision, Motto and Values

Christian Vision

St Bartholomew’s Trust Vision

Our vision is that our children, staff and families flourish and achieve through an aspirational, innovative and compassionate community-based approach.

‘I can never forget you. I have written your name in the palm of my hands.’ 44

(Isiah 49, 16)

Woodseaves CE Primary Academy Vision

Here at Woodseaves we are educating the children for wisdom and knowledge to ensure that we equip all of our adults and children with how to live well in God’s world with the promise of Jesus to live life in all its fullness.   We pray for our children from their first day until their last that they are able to live out God’s wisdom in everyday practical life so that they will do good to all those who need it and embrace diversity in order to become resilient global citizens.

‘Start children on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it’
Proverbs 22:6

Our Motto

Our Values

Underpinning our school vision, our Christian values provide the framework on which we build our school community and are embedded in our collective worship, our actions, planning and policies.

These values guide us to live out our vision and enable us to ‘Start children on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.’ Proverbs 22:6

Every member of our team works with our school and our community to ensure that we are helping to raise exceptional future leaders, educators and citizens who are able to flourish and achieve throughout their lives.

Our Mission Statement

Our school community of children, parents, staff, governors and the Church work in partnership to ensure that all our Woodseaves pupils develop into happy and confident individuals who have secure foundation in learning which will help them to flourish. Our school ethos enables children to value and develop a meaningful understanding of religious and moral beliefs and develop a respect for the views of others. Our approach to teaching and learning ensures that children feel confident to take risks in their learning, developing their resilience and learn from their mistakes.

‘Start children on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it’
Proverbs 22:6
