School Performance
At Woodseaves CE Primary Academy, we are proud of the achievements of our pupils and the progress they make throughout their time with us.

As a small school, cohort sizes vary from year to year and percentages should therefore be viewed in context. However, our outcomes consistently demonstrate the high aspirations we have for every child and the quality of education provided across the school.

2024-25 Performance Data

Key Stage 2 Combined Reading, Writing and Mathematics
Our Year 6 pupils performed exceptionally well, with 78% achieving the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined, significantly above the national average of 62%.

The proportion of pupils achieving the higher standard was also above national figures, reflecting the strong progress made by pupils across the curriculum.
Multiplication Tables Check (Year 4)

In this section
The Multiplication Tables Check assesses pupils' rapid recall of multiplication facts up to 12 × 12.

43% of pupils achieved full marks, placing Woodseaves above the national average and demonstrating strong mathematical fluency.

Early Years Foundation Stage
Children in our Early Years class achieved outcomes above the national average, with 71% reaching a Good Level of Development.

This reflects our commitment to providing children with a strong foundation for future learning through a nurturing, engaging and ambitious curriculum.
Phonics Screening Check (Year 1)
While our Year 1 phonics results were below national figures this year, the cohort was very small and individual pupil needs had a significant impact on overall outcomes.

Phonics remains a key priority within our School Improvement Plan and we continue to strengthen our early reading provision to ensure all children develop the secure decoding skills needed to become confident readers.
