Early Years Foundation Stage Profile 2023

Of the 11 pupils in Reception for the academic year 2022 - 2023 , 82% of the children achieved a ‘Good Level of Development’ based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) prime areas of learning. This is above the provisional national average of 67% and the 2021/2022 national average of 65%.

 

Year One Phonics Screening Check 2023

Of the 14 pupils in Year 1 for the academic year 2022-2023  86% of the children passed the phonics screening check, this is above the national average of 75% for 2022.

Of the 4 Year 2 pupils required to retake the phonics screening check, 100% passed in June 2023. 

 

Key Stage 1 Teacher Assessments 2023

The results for the 8 pupils in Year 2 during the academic year 2022-2023:

Reading, writing and maths combined - 63% of children reached the expected standard.

During Autumn 2023 OFSTED visited Woodseaves CE Primary Academy and graded the school to be good with outstanding behaviour and attitudes and Early Years Foundation Stage.
